Citigroup Inc. has hired Adam Inzirillo, the head of data at Cboe Global Markets Inc., to oversee the bank’s equities and futures execution platform within its trading division, according to people familiar with the matter. The move has not been publicly announced.
Inzirillo is expected to join in October as global head of execution platform in Citi’s equities unit and will report to Sebastien Mailleux, the bank’s global co-head of prime services, one of the people said. The appointment underscores Citi’s continued focus on electronic trading infrastructure and execution quality.
